1) A copy of the Degree Diploma of higher education (with transcript).

2) Winner and prizewinner certificates of the vocational contests, scientific and design research competitions, winner (prizewinner) certificates of competitions received during the period after enrolment in the higher education programs (over the past 5 years).

3) A motivation essay which should include:
  • a detailed answer to the question about the goals of obtaining education under the program which the applicant has chosen;
  • expected learning outcomes by the end of the program;
  • the applicant's opinion about the features of this Master's Degree Program which will help him realize his goals;
  • a description of the projects completed by the applicant independently and (or) on the team, followed by links to repositories, records or other materials confirming his contribution;
  • Links to accounts on Github, LeaderID and/or other professional social networks
The length of the text is no more than 4 000 characters with spaces, Times New Roman font, size - 12, line spacing – 1.5.
54.04.01 «DESIGN»
1) Winner (or prizewinner) certificates and appreciation letters of the vocational Russian and international competitions, certificates of participation in individual or group Russian and international exhibitions.

2) A motivation essay which should include:
  • a detailed answer to the question about the goals of obtaining education under the program which the applicant has chosen;
  • expected learning outcomes by the end of the program;
  • the applicant's opinion about the features of this Master's Degree Program which will help him realize his goals;

The length of the text is no more than 3 000 characters with spaces, Times New Roman font, size - 12, line spacing – 1.5.

3) A link to the repository with a portfolio of works performed by the applicant independently and (or) on the team (design, art objects, texts, installations, graphics, digital art, layout, applications, websites, etc.) in the PDF format or the multimedia PDF with clickable links;

4) A link to an applicant's two-minute video interview posted in the public domain on the Internet video platforms that contains the answer to the question "Why do I want to apply for this degree program?";

Admission guideline

For the 09.04.01 "Informatics and Computers" and 11.04.03 "Design Engineering and Electronic Instrumentation Technology" Degree Programs

1) Fill in the form and send the documents online on the website of the FEFU Admission Office

2) Period of admission:
6th of July – 7th of August 2020 – Applicants for Russian Governmental Scholarships
6th of July – 25th of August 2020 – Self-Financed Applicants

3) To come in person for admission to the FEFU Master's Degree Programs is NOT MANDATORY!

4) After clicking on the button "Apply online" on the Admission Office website, you will get to the authorization form.

5) If you have not registered yet, sign up by clicking on the registration link at the bottom of the page.
6) Enter your email (real one!) in the registration form, password, real passport details. After registration, a confirmation letter about registration on the portal will be sent to your e-mail.
7) If the registration information is correct, you will immediately go to the application form (you do not need to confirm registration by e-mail!). .
8) Carefully fill in all the fields in the form, do not forget to attach scanned copies of the required documents. After that, click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. If you successfully save the form, you will be at the top of the page and see the "Submit Application" button.
9) Choose the education level - "Master's Degree (Vladivostok)", because the Data Economy School is located there, and click the "Submit Application" button.

10) Sometimes at this step you may be redirected to the authorization page and asked to sign in your personal account again, in this case enter your email and password (you should have received by email during registration) and click the "Log in" button.

11) In the "Submit Application" section, you will need to enter the information in the correct fields: "Education", "Individual Achievements", "Portfolio", and click the "Save" button.

12) Examination of documents in the Portfolio will be held by the Examination Board on 12-13 of August, 2020.

13) After publishing on the FEFU website the lists of applicants recommended for enrollment you should provide the FEFU Admission Office with the original of the degree document (diploma) and an application form for admission until 19th of August, 2020.
Tests
Pass the admission tests
The admission tests purpose is to check the basic level of digital literacy and to choose the educational path in the framework of the master's studies. The first semester program includes subjects on the basics of programming and mathematics. For these subjects students will be grouped according to the admission tests results.

If there is the possibility to stay in-person at FEFU, then you can go through tutorials and master classes on 5th, 6th, 7th of August from 13:00 to 17:00, at the FEFU campus, building G, classroom G420.

The "Informatics and Computers" Degree Program
The tests will be conducted on the CATS system. You should sign up and pass the test, which will be held on 10th of August, 2020. When sign up on the CATS system in the "Full Name" field you should write your surname, name and middle name in full (for example, "Ivanov Ivan Ivanovich").

To prepare for the admission tests, it is recommended:

1. To study the programming elements and concepts and elementary mathematics independently, or using an online course, for example: "Python Programming", "The Fundamentals of Statistics";

2. To take a test run on the CATS system, which is available at any time.

The "Design Engineering and Electronic Instrumentation Technology" Degree Program

1. To study the programming elements and concepts and elementary mathematics independently, or using an online course, for example: "Modern Astronautics".

2. The tests will be conducted on the CATS system. You should sign up and pass the test, which will be held on 10th of August, 2020.

When sign up on the CATS system in the "Full Name" field you should write your surname, name and middle name in full (for example, "Ivanov Ivan Ivanovich").

3. The results of the test must be sent to the email address resume@dataeconomyschool.com by 23:59 on 11th of August, 2020.
